Submitting a Formal Comment in the Horseshoe Solar Project Proceeding

The Town encourages its residents to formally submit public comments in the Horseshoe Solar Project proceeding.  Formally submitting your individual comments has two advantages: (1) it adds your comment verbatim directly into the record in the proceeding so that it can be considered by all parties, including the applicant, the Siting Board, state agencies, and the Administrative Law Judge; and (2) it provides a record of comments submitted by Town residents for the Town to consider as it prepares its formal comments.

Formally submitting a comment is easy to do:

1. Go to this link: http://documents.dps.ny.gov/public/Comments/PublicComments.aspx?MatterCaseNo=18-F-0633.   This link will take you directly to the “Post Comment” page in the proceeding.
2. Enter your name, address, email address, and company (if applicable).
3. Enter your comments.
4. If you would like to add an attachment (such as a photo or drawing or a letter), click the “Add/Remove Attachments” box.
5. Review the disclaimer language and check the acknowledgment box.
6. Click “I am not a robot” and then “Post Comment”.
